A Warm Welcome
Nestled in the beautiful Gwaun Valley, Ddol Isaf Campsite is a small, personable, family run site situated in the breath-taking Pembrokeshire National Park.
Surrounded by stunning wild walks and beaches, you truly are at the centre of a campers’ paradise. We have a quirky horsebox housing a toilet and shower and a brand new rustic shower, toilet and washing up block.
There are two traditional pubs, The Bridgend Inn and The Ranch which are meters away offering you a warm welcome and locally brewed beers/ales. Nearby Fishguard & Newport has a great choice of pubs/restaurants, supermarkets and launderette services. Lower Town in Fishguard offers wild swimming, kayaking, kids crabbing and tasty crab sandwiches/salads at the Yacht Club.
Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelodd beaches are safe for family paddle-boarding, kayaking and swimming. There is also horse riding, boat trips, historical sites, coasteering, escape rooms and much more, all in the surrounding area.
Walking is also a delight here as we have miles and miles of stunning National Park trails. Llys y Fran Reservoir also provides great fishing, walking, cycling trails, sailing and other activities.
Ddol Isaf Campsite is also a dog friendly campsite and welcome our four legged friends. We are also a very convenient and cost effective option for those overnight stops to catch the ferry to Ireland.
We have had so many campers come a stay a night or two and then catch the ferry to Ireland for their holidays and vice versa. It’s so heartening to see the ferry being used for tourism again for both economies.
So, come and see us soon in this wild, Welsh campsite.
